Hi, now I want to share about what is Sprint Planning Meeting, if we are working at software development based, this Sprint Planning Meeting should be familiar. Because this meeting is always held right before the sprint start. To define the PBI (Product Backlog Item), the weight of the development, duration of the sprint and the most important thing: to start the Sprint.

Who is attending at this meeting?
People who should go with this meeting is Product Owner, Scrum Master, Development Team (Developer and Tester).

How much time we need to spend to this meeting?
For sprint with duration 4 weeks, this meting should be not longer than 8 hours, and for sprint with duration 2 weeks, this meeting should not longer than 4 hours.

What we are talking about in this meeting?
In this meeting, we are talking about the product being developed, goal, expected result.

Steps:

1. First, Scrum Master define how long the duration of the sprint should be, if it will be 2 week, then the sprint cannot more than 4 hours, and if 4 weeks, it cannot more than 8 hours.
2. Product Owner should tells the team about the goal of the sprint. Important! Do not start sprint planning meeting if the Product Owner still don't have clear goal for the sprint.
3. Let Development Team to create PBI (Product Backlog Item) to solve the Product Owner request
4. Define the Story Point of for each PBI (Usually use Fibonacci sequence like 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 20 because the larger point story is, the more uncertainty and lesser accurate estimation will be)
5. Define how many story point need to be done within current sprint.
6. Confirm with the team that this sprint can be done without overtime.
7. Start the Sprint 😇

Note:
To define story point, we can use like playing card or just download android application name "Scrum Time"
