How To Back Up My Registry

Hi, I want to share about how to back up registry, in case if we have modified the registry to our configuration, we need to back up it. I make this tutorial for windows user and it can be implemented for windows xp, vista and 7, maybe other windows can apply it too. So here is the steps:
  1. Press [Windows] + [R] and the computer will show up new pop up. Just type "regedit" on the textbox like the picture below
And then click "OK" or press [Enter]
  2. Then a window "Registry Editor" shown up, and you need to press "File" -> "Export" like the picture below
  3. Select the folder you want to save the back up file and rename it like the picture below
I make the file name with the date I create the back up so I can know the latest date I back up it or if I need to restore it on certain date. If you done with your file name, just click "Save" or press [Enter]
For restore the registry, go for step 1, and when you on step 2, click "Import" instead export. And then select your back up file
