How To Delete Database Engine Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2

Hi, yesterday I have a trouble for removing an instance of my database engine, since I have more than 1 database engine and I didn't need many database, I just need 1 database only and make it my default database. After serious struggling, finally I got the way to remove it. Here is the steps:
  1. Go to "Control Panel" and select "Program And Featured" like picture below
  2. After that, you will be redirected into a list of program that you've installed, you need to choose "Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (64-bit)" like picture below
    And press "Uninstall/Change"
  3. Then just press "Remove" when the wizard appeared and it would be like this, and then just press "Ok"
  4. And then you have to select the instance (database engine) that you need to remove and then press next
  5. After pressing next, the wizard will ask to you, what you need to be deleting, be careful, you just want to remove one instance, not delete management studio etc as well. Just check the "Database Engine Service" as picture below and press next
  6. Just press next again on removal rules
  7. Press remove and wait until it the progress is done
